Alvaro Díaz is a journalist, film director and TV
producer, who made TV shows as “Plan Z” and “El factor humano”. He studied
journalism on the Universidad de Chile, and when he was on his second year, he
began to work on the new television channel “Canal 2 Rock & Pop”.
Some years later he and his friend Pedro Peirano
founded the APLAPLAC producer, whit the one they did their more successful
project in their life: “31 Minutos”, a children's TV show that was about a news
program produced and presented by puppets.
Álvaro Díaz gave life to Juan Carlos Bodoque, a red
bunny who spoke about environment and ecology in the special section of the
program: “La nota verde” or “The green note”.
“31 minutos” had three music disc and a movie. All
of them were co-produced by Álvaro Díaz. They made concerts, and they even were
on Festival de Viña, winning all the awards.
Álvaro Díaz also won the Altazor award in 2000 and
2004, by "El factor humano" and "31 minutos".
I choose him because I like the way how he could
make all this great projects apart of the journalism. That’s what I want: Being
a journalist, and explore some other things.
That’s all.
Love always, Paula.
